The Walk‑Up — Where the Story Begins

Your experience starts at Watts Bridge Memorial Airfield, a WWII satellite airfield originally built to support RAAF during the Pacific campaign.

As you step onto the field, the world seems to quieten.

There she is: Lady Luck. Sunlight slides across her elliptical wings — the same iconic shape that made the Spitfire the most
beautiful fighter ever built.

You run your hand along the metal. Cold. Smooth. Alive. The ladder is waiting. The cockpit opens. Suddenly, the distance between you and history is just one step.

Pre‑Flight — Knowledge, Safety, and Preparation

Before you fly, you’ll complete a detailed pre‑flight briefing. This covers the aircraft, the flight profile, and all safety procedures. You’ll also review and sign our liability waiver, along with a formal acknowledgment that the briefing has been completed. It’s where anticipation meets understanding.

Strap In — The Sky Is About to Change You

You climb the ladder.
You lower yourself into the cockpit.
We provide a cockpit familiarisation, then tighten the harness until it holds you securely.
Then the starter whines.

You’ll have the opportunity to take additional photos, speak with our crew, and discuss every moment of the flight — from the climb‑out to the victory roll. It’s the perfect way to let the adrenaline settle while capturing the memories you’ve just made.
