L-39 Platinum Combat Mission

Grab a friend and go on an adrenalin fueled combat air-to-air mission in our Czechoslovakian L-39C Albatros Fighter Jets.  Flying in formation, you will perform 'G' manoeuvres, loops and rolls that will get your heart racing! Take on the ultimate jet combat mission with a mate. It's double the fun with a friend!

You'll undergoing a full mission briefing to discuss the flight's intensity (it’s your choice Mild or Wild), safety and communication procedures. After a detailed run through of the aerobatic and combat manoeuvres, you’ll be kitted out in jet fighter attire including flight suit (optional) and a fighter helmet then make your way out to the L-39C. Once securely strapped in and get ready for the flight of a lifetime. After a run through and system check, you’ll hear the 4,000 lb engine spool up, then it’s time for action!

For the duration of the flight you will be sitting in the back seat of the aircraft, behind your pilot, with constant communication. After a formation take-off, we track to the Mission area to experience an exhilarating dogfight sequence that will knock your socks of! Before splitting for a full range of aerobatic maneuvres Including loops, rolls, cuban eights, inverted flight, and vertical rolls if you dare. 

Then you'll make your way back to Archerfield for a de-brief and photo opportunities. 

This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience to share with family or friends and a perfect gift idea for Top Gun fans and Adrenalin-junkies alike.

Mission Area: Pacific Ocean (Main Beach - Surfers Paradise) and/or Wyaralong Dam (Note: Mission area is subject to Air Traffic Control, traffic and weather).

Duration: One 45 minute Warbird Combat Adventure, 30 minutes from take-off to landing. Allow one hour for your total experience allowing for briefing and pre-flight, photo opportunities, de-brief and footage transfer if purchased. 

Flight upgrades and footage are available on the day should you wish to extend your flight time.
